About us

The company responsible for ClubFusion is called Sportsphere. Sportsphere provides an interactive and fun online fantasy sports management league for sports clubs and organisations to run in-house.

The company was officially founded in March 2003. At the time both partners were English National League Hockey Players (field hockey) and active members of their local hockey club find an innovative and fun way of raising critical funds for their club.

In response to this problem it was recognised that by taking the fantasy sports concept and putting it right into the heart of an amateur club, not only was there potential for a significant fundraising stream, but that the concept also promoted club integration and added an extra element of fun to being a club member.

After almost four years, Sportsphere is now a registered pool promoter, and in September 2007 were granted a remote pool betting operating licence by the Gambling Commission.

We believe that all sports clubs in the UK could benefit from joining the ClubFusion community to offer their members and supporters something extra, whilst raising additional funds for their club.
